Consistent waves, great exposure, schools and rentals on site. Ten minutes' drive from the villa — perfect for the day's first session.

Caravelle Lighthouse
360-degree view over the Atlantic, Tartane and inland to Mont Pelée. Allow 30 minutes' walk from the car park — and head back down before dark.

Baie du Trésor
A hidden mangrove cove, a 30-40 minute walk from the Château Dubuc car park. Calm water, daytime swimming and snorkelling (nature reserve), rarely busy on weekdays.

La Trinité Market
Fruit, spices, infused rums, local vegetables. Saturday morning for the atmosphere — come early, when the fishing boats return, for the freshest fish.
