Why this house
A simple conviction.
The 2025 renovation began with a conviction: the Caravelle peninsula was missing a holiday rental made for sharing good times together — large enough to host an extended family or a circle of friends, yet intimate enough to keep its Caribbean character.
Villa Kaïbana is run by its owners, settled in Martinique for many years. That local depth shaped every choice — artisans, materials, and the spirit of the house.
View from the pool — Tartane, June 2025.
Everything faces the sea: the pool, the lounge bar, the terraces and the corner bedrooms were designed to look out over the bay.
Why Tartane
A fishing village.
Tartane retains its identity as a fishing port. The peninsula is classified as a nature reserve, which protects its landscapes and rhythm.
Sheltered by the relief of the peninsula, the bay of Tartane stays calmer than the rest of the Atlantic coast.
Inside, five bedrooms in distinctive moods — terracotta, khaki green, powder pink, luminous white, deep blue — give the villa a lively character.
